ITEM: MAKING A HANGING SIGN IN SIGN ONE 80mm
( 3 1/4") DESCRIPTION: By using a Sign One post
horizontally and attaching projecting threaded bolts with sleeves to a ceiling fixing
plate. A robust effective hanging sign can be achieved.
CONSTRUCTION: Details are set out in
the following specifications.
SPECIFICATION: |

STEP 1: |
A cut/purchase 200mmx3mm
( 7 3/4" x 1/8") aluminium disc with two countersunk fixing holes (A1) and one countersunk suspended bolt
hole (A2) |
STEP 2: |
B select desired length
countersunk metal thread bolt and insert into (A2) |
STEP 3: |
C select and cut to suit
"B", which is a hollow aluminium tube which acts as a spacer and cover tube to
hide "B". |
STEP 4: |
D slide selected nut to suit
"B" into hex opening (see 4409DD No. 3 for detail) and screw in "B"
and tighten off. |
STEP 5: |
E repeat steps 1 4 as
required to provide required number of hanging brackets. |
STEP 6: |
X manufacture Sign One frame
sign to suit (see 4409EE) |
QUICK TIP: |
Z if you make your own aluminium
disc "A" ensure distance between fixing holes A1, allows easy drilling into
ceiling. |
Engineers Specification should be sought to
ensure size/suitability of the system by user prior to use.
