ITEM: MAKING A HANGING SIGN IN SIGN ONE 80mm ( 3 1/4")

DESCRIPTION: By using a Sign One post horizontally and attaching projecting threaded bolts with sleeves to a ceiling fixing plate. A robust effective hanging sign can be achieved.

CONSTRUCTION: Details are set out in the following specifications.

SPECIFICATION:
STEP 1: A – cut/purchase 200mmx3mm ( 7 3/4" x 1/8") aluminium disc with two countersunk fixing holes (A1) and one countersunk suspended bolt hole (A2)
STEP 2: B – select desired length countersunk metal thread bolt and insert into (A2)
STEP 3: C – select and cut to suit "B", which is a hollow aluminium tube which acts as a spacer and cover tube to hide "B".
STEP 4: D – slide selected nut to suit "B" into hex opening (see 4409DD No. 3 for detail) and screw in "B" and tighten off.
STEP 5: E – repeat steps 1 – 4 as required to provide required number of hanging brackets.
STEP 6: X – manufacture Sign One frame sign to suit (see 4409EE)
QUICK TIP: Z – if you make your own aluminium disc "A" ensure distance between fixing holes A1, allows easy drilling into ceiling.

Engineers Specification should be sought to ensure size/suitability of the system by user prior to use.

APPLICATIONS: Exterior or interior ceiling suspended signs where a rigid suspension method is required. (for wire suspended see 4409DDD)
