ITEM: CONCRETING INTO GROUND SIGN ONE 80mm ( 3 1/4") and 100mm ( 4")

DESCRIPTION: When installing Sign One posts into concrete, a few helpful hints could simplify your installation and save time and money whilst providing optimum results.

CONSTRUCTION: Technical sheets no. 4409EE Assembly guide and 4409PPP Wind Loads guide will guide your construction and size.

SPECIFICATION:
STEP 1: A – On finishing construction of your Sign One sign, the post infill should be cut shorter eg level with top of the hole
STEP 2: B – A 25mm ( 1") infill is inserted into the post opening and mechanical fixed into position to the finished concrete level. This will allow a neat butt joint for the balance of the infill to the bottom of the sign and enable removal of infill to add additional sign frame at a later date, if required.
STEP 3: C – Bore or dig a suitable hole in the ground, ensuring safe excavation prior to ground breaking. Insert post into hole (of suitable dimension and depth) and fill concrete to "B" 25mm ( 1") infill.

ENGINEERS SPECIFICATIONS: Should be sought to ensure the size and method of the sign you have designed and to establish the suitability of its use prior to manufacture and installation.

APPLICATIONS: Most Sign One installations use this method of sign installation. For installation of free standing signs,eg Hurdle, Directional, Way finding and Nameplate signs
