ITEM: BASEPLATES AS PROJECTING BRACKETS SIGN ONE 80mm ( 3 1/4")

DESCRIPTION: The installation guidelines for using baseplates in sign installation and specifications are provided as a guide for exterior use. Designers should be mindful of the availability to increase the size of the sign in interior or protected environments.

CONSTRUCTION: The baseplate and cover are detailed in technical sheet 4409KK

SPECIFICATION: To utilise the standard baseplate by using  chemical anchors at 110mm ( 4 1/4") centres, the total square metreage of the sign surface which gives a wind area of 1.0 square metre ( 3' 3") with a centre load 1500mm ( 5') above the ground to the base plate, per base plate. Calculated to meet the requirements of Australian Standard AS1170 Part 2 wind loads for region A terrain category No. 3 areas.

ENGINEERS SPECIFICATIONS: Should be sought to ensure the size and method of the sign you have designed and to establish the suitability of its use prior to manufacture and installation.
