ITEM: MAKING A SIGN
ONE FRAME DESCRIPTION: For a
variety of sign applications making a Sign One frame is a requirement
CONSTRUCTION: Using Sign One P1484R
infill/frame and your choice of sign face substrate (see 4409EE)
SPECIFICATION: |
STEP 1: |
A cut frame to required length and
mitre corners |
STEP 2: |
B using the vee groove in the back
of the frame as centre, drill hole to align with screw flute and using a metal thread 8
gauge screw, then assemble the sign frame. |
STEP 3: |
C measure length and width of sign
frame |
STEP 4: |
D run a bead of suitable premium
glue along recessed fin (4409CC No.
2) ( tape can be substituted ) |
STEP 5: |
E carefully place sign face to
recessed fin and press down firmly (roller with pressure if required) wipe off excess glue
if required. Also see 4409RRR for glue
specification: "Glue Fixing Signs". |
APPLICATIONS: Sign panels are the main application
for this method. |
