ITEM:
MAKING WALL MOUNTED DIRECTORIES
DESCRIPTION: Sign One infill/frames can
be manufactured and assembled into a 900 right angle aluminium extrusion to
form an attractive large scale directory.
CONSTRUCTION: Uses Sign One frame
P1484R and 900 aluminium angle
SPECIFICATION: |
STEP 1: |
A make up Sign
One frame to desired length and width (see 4409TTT) |
STEP 2: |
B establish quantity of sign frames
(panels) to calculate the total length and width of the frame and cut frames with mitres
to bottom corners and weld corner (if so desired). |
STEP 3: |
C an optional reverse 900
angle can be used if this is your required finished look |
STEP 4: |
D - drill fixing holes into 900
angle frame and fix frame to wall at required height. |
STEP 5: |
E place sign frames into 900
angle frame and mechanically fix |
STEP 6: |
F for a variation to the finished
look, a 900 angle can be reversed and mechanically fixed into position
(optional C) |
STEP 7: |
G BiFix caps or equipment can be
used to disguise the fixings. ( BiFix caps are small push in caps to
hide the screw heads ) |
APPLICATIONS: Wall mounted directories are the main
usage for this method. |
