ITEM: MAKING VEE SIGNS

DESCRIPTION: When making a Vee sign, it’s often desirable to achieve a three (3) post installation rather than doubling up on the middle post. By utilising this method you can save both time and money and provide the end sign with clean and simple lines.

CONSTRUCTION: Aluminium Sign One components and/or standard aluminium extrusion sections.

SPECIFICATION:
STEP 1: A – cut aluminium 900 angles to length of sign required
STEP 2: B – cut suitable size aluminium flat bar for your requirements, considerations on width, length and thickness will impact on clearances as indicated by X.
STEP 3: C – select aluminium 900 angle, considering clearances as in X
STEP 4: D - weld "C" aluminium 900 angle to B
STEP 5: E – after assembly of sign frames "E1" (4409EE) or using flat sheets (4409CCC) mechanically fix selected sign panels "E1" to rear face of C. (as indicated by "E") Ensure suitability of fixings for intended use.
STEP 6: F – Install to site after assembly and selection of best practice techniques.

ENGINEERS SPECIFICATIONS: Should be sought to ensure size/suitability of the system by user prior to use.

APPLICATIONS: Where the requirement calls for a Vee sign rather than a double sided sign at 900 to the viewing audience, typical installations: distance viewing, high speed viewing, high exposure sites where the extra support of a vee sign is required. Installs could include – building sites, universities, hospitals, business nameplate signs, advertising panels to name a few.
