DESCRIPTION: This device offers the
user installation options.
| CONSTRUCTION: |
| STEP 1: |
Using an 80mm ( 3
1/4") 5mm ( 1/8") wall thickness ID
galvanised pipe, cut to length required. The determination of the pipe is dependent on the
sign sizes. |
| STEP 2: |
Drill a 10mm ( 3/8")hole 50mm
( 2") down from the top of
ground socket and tap and thread suitable to take a 10mm galvanised hex head bolt. |
| STEP 3: |
When installing into ground ensure alignment
of open section of post to bolt in ground socket on larger signs you may wish to weld flat
bar to the ground socket to ensure fixing into concrete. |

APPLICATIONS: This device offers the user
installation options eg. being able to concrete the ground socket in place allows :-
- Removal/reinstallation of sign as the need arises
- Ground works to be done prior to signs
- Where temporary signs are required in the position for short
term
