ITEM: USING FLAT SHEETS IN SIGN ONE 80mm ( 3 1/4") and 100mm POST

DESCRIPTION: The flat sheet assembly guide sets out the method of integrating various flat sheet substrates and the Sign One post. This guide can be used in both 80mm ( 3 1/4") post and 100mm ( 4") post.

CONSTRUCTION: Many methods of construction can be used to integrate flat or fabricated sheets with the post sections internal twin opposing receptors. (see 4409DD No. 2)

SPECIFICATION: DIAGRAM A
STEP 1: A – cut aluminium 90o angles to required length of sign panels
STEP 2: B – cut selected sign panel allowing extra width, which extends into post
STEP 3: C – use suitable mechanical or glue fixing to assemble 90o angles to sign panel
STEP 4: D – slot infill section P1484R with circular saw or router to required dimension, which should allow the sign panel clearance and slide into the post.
STEP 5: E – slide assembled sign panel with 90o angles into posts twin opposing receptors.

SPECIFICATION ALTERNATIVE: DIAGRAM B

STEP 1: A – cut "U" channel to suit thickness of stock and required length
STEP 2: B – 3mm aluminium flat sheet cut to suit "Z" and depth of sign
STEP 3: C – mechanically fix "A" to "B"
STEP 4: D – fix sign face into assembled "A" and "B"
STEP 5: E – slot infill section P1484R with circular saw or router to required dimension if required to allow sign panel clearance and slide into post.

ENGINEERS SPECIFICATIONS: Should be sought to ensure size/suitability of the system by user prior to use.

APPLICATIONS: Allows the users to combine Sign One frame and selected flat sign panels together. Can be used to integrate a wide range of materials not commonly used in aluminium sign posting i.e. plywood, composite panels, climbers for engraving, framed signs, rigid aluminium sheets 3mm ( 1/8"), 6mm ( 1/4"), 10mm ( 3/8") etc, which allows freedom of design.
